I intend to keep this series short as I believe it is our turn to be silent and listen to what minorities and a post colonial discourse has to say. However since the Black Lives Matter movement I have researched my own history as a white westerner on this matter - not taught at school ! - which has been confrontational. For I (and we) have indirectly benefited from our Belgian Colony: Congo wether we like it or not. Our history is intertwined and has an infinite amount of voices that are distinguishable within two main ones: Indigenous and (Post)Colonial.
